Who is Maria Jose Hummel

María José Hummel nutritionist (master of science in human nutrition, University of Bridgeport, Connecticut), health educator (master of public health, University of San José, California), certified by the American Association of Lifestyle Medicine, author and international speaker, who has been teaching nutrition, health, prevention, and vegetarian cooking for many years. She has appeared numerous times on cooking shows on 3ABN, 3ABN Latino, and other radio and television networks in California. She is also the author of two vegetarian cookbooks, a book on reversing diabetes (in Spanish), and maintains websites in English and Spanish, where she provides free recipes and health information. She has completed the plant-based nutrition certificate program at the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at Cornell University and recently completed her doctorate in natural medicine (with an emphasis on nutrition and natural remedies). Lately she has taught nutrition classes for graduates at the Adventist University of Chile, and the Peruvian Union University.
